Increased stack, combined with shorter cranks, lifts your head up and squares off your stance, putting you in a more natural-feeling, upright position. From this position, you’re better equipped to control and maneuver the bike with confidence and precision, allowing you to flick it around as if the extra system weight isn’t even there.

Continuing in the vein of DH-focused handling, we designed the bike around a mullet wheel setup only. This gives the rider more influence over the chassis of the bike, making it easier to initiate and maintain direction changes.

And while you might think all this DH-oriented geometry would be a detriment on steep climbs, with our proportional geometry, the rear-centers grow, and seat angles get steeper as you go up in size, keeping you centered on the bike, both up and down the hill.

A year has passed since we introduced the Druid E, and we’ve had even more time to test the ever-growing market of motor systems. But still, the Avinox drive system is an absolute no-brainer for us, especially with the all-new Avinox M2 and M2S motors.

Yes, the new motors have more torque and power, but it’s on those grim and technical climbs where this motor still blows us away. Thanks to continued refinements and updates from Avinox, it’s even easier than ever to finesse each pedal stroke to maintain traction. Combine that with our low pedal kickback, thanks to the idler position, and you get a bike that’ll drag you up a hill, whether you deserve it or not.

Spec-wise, for the M2S, which comes on our Tier 1 and Tier 2 builds, you’re looking at 130 Nm of torque (150 Nm in boost) and 1300 watts of peak power in a 2.6 Kg package. For the M2, which comes on our Tier 3 and Tier 4 builds, you’re looking at 110 Nm of torque (125 Nm in boost) and 1100 watts of peak power in a 2.65 Kg package.

We took everything we learned from developing the Druid E and designed the Dreadnought E to be our most capable long-travel trail bike to date. Our Trifecta V3 suspension is at the heart of this. It’s still high-pivot and still four-bar, retaining all the Dreadnought ride characteristics you know and love, but key design changes put the shock in a vertical position, maximizing room for long dropper posts while still packaging the motor and battery cleanly and efficiently. You can slam a 180mm dropper into an S1 frame.

Dreadnought E features a 2-inch OLED full-colour Control Display as the interactive hub, enabling connectivity between the Avinox Drive Unit and your mobile device via the Avinox app. New this year, the Avinox system also offers an Enhanced Navigation feature, allowing you to either import data files (GPX, FIT, TCX) or link through navigation apps, to have navigation right there on the Avinox screen.

Dreadnought E builds that are spec’d with AXS transmission come equipped with SRAM’s AXS Extension Cord. The SRAM AXS Extension Cord connects the AXS transmission to the bike’s battery, allowing you to power the drivetrain directly without the use of an AXS battery.

This connection also enables the Avinox Smooth Shift feature, allowing you to change gears without pedalling. Not only does this help when you’re approaching a steep climb or when you need to drop some gears in the middle of a descent, it also reduces your drivetrain wear.

Das Druid E ist mit einem speziell fürs E-MTB entwickelten 18-Zahn-Stahl-Idler ausgestattet – inklusive zwei Enduro Solid Lube Lagern für maximale Haltbarkeit.
Das überarbeitete Zahnprofil sorgt nicht nur für noch mehr Laufruhe, sondern garantiert auch volle Kompatibilität mit den neuesten Antriebssystemen.
Ein kleines Detail, das in Sachen Performance den entscheidenden Unterschied macht.

Für das Druid E haben wir einen vollständigen, massgeschneiderten Rahmenschutz entwickelt – von Kettenstrebe über Sitzstrebe bis hin zu Unterrohr- und Motorschutz.
Jedes Element wurde inhouse designt – passgenau, funktional und perfekt auf das Bike abgestimmt.

Selbst in der Kleinsten Rahmengrösse vom Druid E Rahmen findet eine vollwertige 0.75L / 26oz Trinkflasche problemlos Platz – und das völlig unabhängig vom Dämpfer-Reservoir.
Weil wir wissen: Hydration ist King – aber ein verschwitzter Rücken? Definitiv nicht.
